I particularly loved the LED lights set up for the concert. It's amazing! There is also a part where water is poured from atop on rain. Dramatic ... !!! Besides Malaysian fans, there were also fans from Korea, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong who came over to support their idol. This would be a memorable concert that i would never forget for the rest of my life !
It is one of the attraction of ' Visit Malaysia Year 2007 ', celebrating Malaysia's 50th anniversary.
I bet it is not as good as 'London Eye' or those they have in Japan, but it is worth a try!
This is the bird's eye view from the top. Small facts - 42 capsules in total that can fit up to 6 in 1 at a time.
The official website of ' Eye On Malaysia ' doesn't provide much information on this ride. Other facts : - Opening time ~ 10am - 10pm, Price ~ RM 10 for adults and RM 8 for children, senior citizens and disabled.
The movie i watched today is called 'Happy Birthday'. What a coincidence, releasing on my birthday month! Come to think about it, it is only another 10 days before i turn 21.
This is no happy movie ... it is quite touching and sad. I love the story line but they made it like they want to end the movie at the last part. Too abrupt. Overall, it is good. Heard good comments from movie critics and i think by watching this, people would tend not to beat around the bush and do or say things they have wanted to before they regret later in life. Appreciate and cherish all the people around you.
This movie is a love story that may give a wake up call to some out there. The situations encountered by the main casts are similar to what young humans are experiencing today. The main actor of this movie is Louis Koo while the main actress is Rene Liu. Both of them make a good combination and it definitely brought the chemistry out of them.
I also found out that this movie is based on Rene Liu's short novel called 'I Want To Go With You'. Another thing, i only realise that this movie is originally in Mandarin but what we have in Malaysia has been dubbed into Cantonese, don't worry as Louis Koo would still be dubbing for his canto part. So there is no much difference. You won't notice and it is not that obvious.
Everyone has a story that grows with them, what is yours? Happy Birthday ...
I wasn't sure whether it was a female or a male, but i know that person who was at the other side of the phone was trying real hard to impress the receiver. But, it didn't work. I hung up the call immediately, and that someone called again. This time i just decided to switch my cellphone off. I think this is an act of sexual harassment to me but it might be 'his/her' fetish. I don't understand why people would do that, it is violating someone's life. Why not instead go get someone who has a similar interest. For the caller, what would he/she get from doing that? Was it supposed to arouse me? If it was, it didn't work. To make oneself 'high'? Should i shout to make him feel better? Maybe i should sing some festive season songs to turn that person off or perhaps religious hymns and chants. I wonder how would different people react to such situation. This is similar to the flasher situation.
Talking about fetishes, i know that there are many people who has this liking for a particular something. Some might wonder what is fetish? It states here at Dictionary.com from WordNet that
FETISH
noun
1. a form of sexual desire in which gratification depends to an abnormal degree on some object or item of clothing or part of the body; "common male fetishes are breasts, legs, hair, shoes, and underwear"
2. a charm superstitiously believed to embody magical powers [syn: juju]
3. excessive or irrational devotion to some activity; "made a fetish of cleanliness"
So i did a little tour around some websites and this is what i found on AskMen.com
What is a Fetish?
Some people aren't sure if they even have a fetish while others think that their fetishes are abnormal. So what is a fetish? If you have a fetish, you are obsessively fixated on either an object or a body part, or both.
You need that specific something for sexual gratification. When you masturbate, you have to either fantasize about that object or have that object with you. Even if you have sex with a partner, you still need to fantasize about that object or have it present.
For instance, if you're attracted to a brunette, that's one thing, but if you are unable to get aroused unless you're with a brunette, then you likely have a fetish.
Types of Fetishes
There are many diverse kinds of fetishes, depending on the object being fetishized. Inanimate fetishes come in two varieties -- media and form.
In a media fetish, material is what is obsessed over. Media fetishes include rubber, leather, latex, and silk.
With a form fetish, it's the shape of the object that has great significance. Stiletto heels, knee-high boots and panties fall into this category.
Feet, hair, butts, breasts, and all that good stuff are also considered fetishes, but since these objects are human, they're called "animate" fetishes.
People can turn anything into a fetish. There are different degrees of fetishism: from mild to extreme. It's quite easy to tell whether your fetish is getting out of hand. Basically, if your fetish interferes with your relationship or your life, seek the help of a professional.
There are so many types of fetishes one can have, and here are some of the examples i obtained from AllExperts :
1. BDSM (B&D - Bondage & Discipline, D&S - Domination & Submission, S&M - Sadism & Masochism)
2. Hand Fetishism
3. Fart Fetishism
4. Muscle Fetishism
5. Uniform Fetishism
6. Smoking Fetishism
7. Fruit Fetishism
8. Stripping Fetishism
9. Lipstick Fetishism
10. Ear Fetishism

Having fetishes doesn't mean that one is weird of psycho, but it is not proper if one inflict such plesaures to someone who isn't willing to perform or undergo it.
We won't realise that we have fetish/fetishes. Do you have one too???
Three Bachelors on a Road Trip
0 Comments Published by Orange on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 4:57 PM.My buddies (Lai n Edwin) were planning for a trip to somewhere during our holidays in the month of December and we had a hard and tough time choosing our destination. We don't really care how far or how close it is as what matter most to us is the time to hang out with each other. So we went from Taman Negara (National Park) -> Langkawi -> Malacca -> Cameron Highlands -> Kuala Lumpur (we actually planned to rent a motel room to stay over to chit chat) -> Perak. Yes and our final decision was Perak. We decided to go on a road trip up to Bukit Merah and as usual, i am the one driving.
We started off not so early in the morning, that is around 10.30am and lost our way. We took the wrong route and instead of the highway, we took the cul-de-sac. First, we stop by at Bidor, a small town which is famous for its Duck Leg Noodles, which i think is great although i don't consume any meat. The herbal soup was fabulous. Then, we went shopping at one of the shops, to but their famous delicacies - 'Sa Qi Ma'. We proceeded to Ipoh next and took Chicken Noodles with Beansprouts, an early lunch. Ipoh is like an antic, not as traditional and old as Malacca, but it has its own distinguish features, all potrayed on buildings. Rich Moorish designs of the British in early Malaya. This is no wonder why directors and producers from local or abroad love to make movies in this town.
I missed out a part, we also visited Kellie's Castle. A castle unfinished. It was said that many workers died during the construction of that building because they were wiped off by plague during the early 19th century.
Next, Taiping, another petite and calm town of Perak. There is nothing much here in Taiping, but the publicity of 'Taiping Lake' makes it me curious. So, i decided to give that spot a try. Peaceful, windy and serene are the words that i can use to describe this place. Feel it for yourself if you have the chance to visit this place.
Final stop before the day starts to dusk, Bukit Merah. It is some sort of retreat from the blinding lights and hustling people of the bustling city. It works like a resort - having a lake, water theme park and eco-park. This place wasn't wonderful, but it was enough to capture my attention.
There was a thing that i was concerned about, is that they take good care of the almost extinct Orang Utan. As you can see, i fell in love with these animals at first sight because the Orang Utans are sooooo adorable.
We went canoeing under the rain at the lake, went to the water theme park to have a whole lot of splash fun time, visited animals and had valuable time bonding our friendship. We had an amazing time there!
On the last day of our trip, we headed back to Kuala Lumpur, but we did make a few stops as this was a road trip. First to some temples and then to a cave named Gua Tempurung. One of my uni friends mentioned about this place today and what i told her was that i smelled dry piss in there. I wonder was it the bats who pissed or humans who did it. It is not as good as some caves i have visited but, it's limestone formation is breathtaking. It would be even perfect sans the pee!
